This project was designed as a high-end outdoor dining event during Vietnam’s Lunar New Year, combining culinary excellence, artistic performance, and cultural storytelling.

Beyond a traditional gala dinner, the experience focused on the Vietnamese cultural spirit of “Tình làng nghĩa xóm” — the deep sense of neighborhood warmth, community connection, and shared celebration that defines Tết.

The event aimed to deliver more than visual elegance. It sought to create an emotional cultural journey where guests could experience Vietnamese traditions in a living, interactive environment.

Creative Challenge

Unlike many Western-style gala events where performances take place on a distant stage, the concept required a fluid cultural space.

Artists, artisans, musicians, and guests needed to share the same environment, allowing performances to blend naturally into the evening.

The challenge was to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of a Vietnamese Tết celebration, where traditions are not simply observed but actively experienced.

The signature Lotus Dance moved gracefully throughout the venue rather than staying on a fixed stage. Dancers blended naturally into the audience, creating an elegant visual dialogue between art and guests.

Live Traditional Music

Musicians performed a fusion of Vietnamese melodies and international music, creating a shared emotional language that resonated with both local and international participants.
